About The Role

The Staff Attorney will review Requests for Evidence (RFE) and conduct legal research based on guidance from senior attorneys. No immigration experience is required as training will be provided; however, an interest in immigration law is preferred. The ideal candidate is goal-oriented, detail-oriented, and motivated to help clients obtain documents and reunite with their families. There are opportunities for career growth and additional responsibilities with strong performance.

What You'll Do
  • Review draft RFE responses according to instructions from Senior Attorneys.
  • Identify, track, and edit documents before submission.
  • Communicate clearly with team members regarding edits.
  • Meet daily case review goals.
  • Perform legal research on immigration law topics.
Qualifications
  • J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school and active membership in a state bar.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Experience with case management software is preferred.
  • Interest in immigration law is a plus.
  • Support the mission of helping people obtain their documents and stay united with their families.
  • Computer skills: MS Word, MS Excel, Document Management (DropBox), Email (MS Outlook).
Compensation

The pay range for this remote role is $60,000 - $65,000 annually.
