Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Salt Lake City, UT seeks an Intern, RF/Wireless Engineer to assist with component drawings, procurement support, and testing setup under supervision.

You will collaborate with program engineers and labs, present analysis results, and learn to interpret test data while following established procedures. This internship includes exposure to hardware and systems used in defense tech.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physics or Electrical Engineering or completed within last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Prepare component drawings and specifications for highly complex products that may be electro-optical, opto-mechanical or electro-mechanical in nature.
• Provide support to engineering and purchasing for procurement and selection of parts and materials, prepare nonstandard part and material submittals, interface and work with labs to interpret test results and define testing for assuring parts are compliant to requirements.
• Communicate with program engineers, management, and customers on technical issues and status of work.
• Present results of analysis to program engineers and customers on a regular basis to ensure proper interpretation and understanding.
• Act as a technical consultant in areas of expertise and perform technical reviews of material/component quality documentation to assure conformance to stated requirements. Work is closely supervised.
• Follow established procedures and guidance from more senior staff
