Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Wi-Fi Engineer, Hardware Reliability for Starlink, based on‑site in Bastrop, TX. You will perform telemetry and log analysis, plus hands‑on debugging to drive to root causes of failed hardware such as phased‑array, Wi‑Fi, and power‑supply PCBAs.

Responsibilities include building tools, supporting internal betas, and collaborating across disciplines to ensure reliability ahead of product launches. A strong background in RF/ networking and Python/R data analysis is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, RF engineering, computer engineering, computer science, mathematics, or other STEM discipline.
• 1+ years of experience with digital or mixed-signal designs and measurement tools.
• Working understanding of ethernet and Wi‑Fi standards.
• 1+ years of data analysis experience in Python/R.

Responsibilities

• Perform telemetry and log analysis and hands‑on debugging to determine root cause of hardware failures.
• Build and maintain tools/software to assess Starlink hardware reliability.
• Run internal betas and product launches to identify design issues before public release.
• Collaborate across engineering, production, test, inventory, quality, supply chain and customer experience to drive outcomes.
• Contribute leadership and creative thinking to solve complex problems under deadlines.
