Job summary

Quirch Foods, LLC in Indiana is seeking a warehouse picker to accurately follow pick tickets, use RF scanners, and pick, palletize, wrap, and scan orders ensuring FIFO. You will confirm locations and maintain clean, safe operations in a cold environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to read, write, communicate and comprehend English to perform tasks.
• Ability to operate various forklifts and handheld scanners with training.
• Good judgement for safe handling of products and efficient communication.
• Able to work in a cold environment and withstand cold temperatures.
• CK31 & CK71 scanner familiarity is a plus.
• Lifting up to 100 pounds and standing/walking for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Follow directions from a pick ticket safely and accurately.
• Use an RF scanner to input, organize, and export products.
• Identify and pick cases from inventory locations.
• Pick, palletize, wrap and scan orders using FIFO.
• Stack products on a pallet in the correct sequence and location.
• Return undelivered product to proper inventory locations.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance as directed by supervisor.
• Observe safe product handling techniques.
• Cooperate with supervisors and peers.
• Be punctual and consistently available for work.
• Other duties as assigned.
