Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. seeks a Validation Engineer Co-op in its Mobile Solutions Business unit at the Newbury Park, CA site. The candidate will work with senior VE staff, use RF test equipment, and contribute to data analysis and reporting. Strong RF fundamentals and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• RF concepts including impedance matching, transformation, distributed systems, passive components and stability.
• Hands-on lab debugging and data analysis experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up tests with guidance from a senior VE and collect data for compliance checks.
• Perform RF measurements and summarize results to support design decisions.
• Assist in optimizing module performance with design engineers.
