Responsibilities

We are seeking an RFuW Field Solution Engineer to collaborate closely with our field sales team. Your role will involve understanding customer measurement challenges, demonstrating Keysight solutions, and enabling customer success. As part of our premier technical pre/post-sales support team, your persuasive skills will help create customer preference for Keysight products, develop strong relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Your responsibilities include:

1. Leading customer engagements from a technical perspective.
2. Owning the development, demonstration, proposal, and sometimes delivery of technical solutions.
3. Collaborating with sales, industry solution teams, and other disciplines to develop and secure complex opportunities.
4. Generating demand through presentations, seminars, and demonstrations.
5. Building long-term relationships and loyalty with customers as a resident expert, ensuring high satisfaction.

This position offers compensation comprising 90% salary and 10% commission, with 100% target pay achievement at targeted sales levels and higher commissions upon exceeding targets.

Qualifications

We value engineers with strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills. The ability to articulate ideas clearly, work effectively in teams, and demonstrate leadership is essential. Candidates should possess:

• BSEE required; MSEE preferred or equivalent, with emphasis on RF and microwave systems, and at least 4 years of professional experience.
• Strong understanding of RF and microwave test and measurement, especially vector network analysis and IQ modulation.
• Passion for continuous learning.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as C#, Python, Matlab, or C.
• Ability to develop strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Must be a US citizen with an active security clearance or willingness to obtain one.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, effective presentation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to transport test equipment to/from customer sites.

Preferred background includes experience in:

• RF/uW/mmW communication systems and component testing with modern VNA's, signal generators, and analyzers.
• Space & Satellite communications and testing systems.
• Radar and Pulsed RF applications, Electronic Warfare testing.
• Communication standards like 5GNR, 802.11, LTE.
