Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an RF Technician to join the Package Test organization at a large semiconductor client in Richardson, TX. This role supports testing, troubleshooting, qualification, and production release of RF semiconductor devices used in commercial, aerospace, defense, and wireless applications.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics Technology or related field, or equivalent military/industry experience.
• 3+ years in electronics manufacturing, semiconductor test, RF testing, or related environments.
• Experience with RF test equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters, oscilloscopes, and digital multimeters.
• Ability to diagnose equipment and product-related failures using structured troubleshooting methods.
• Knowledge of ESD practices, quality systems, and manufacturing documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Experience supporting semiconductor Package Test, Final Test, Reliability, or Production Test operations.
• Familiarity with automated test equipment (ATE) platforms and device handlers.
• Experience with RF power amplifiers, filters, switches, or other RF semiconductor products.
• IPC, ESD, or electronics-related certifications.
• Knowledge of SPC, root cause analysis, FMEA, or Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
• Experience working in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment.
