Job summary

Spectrum Control in Philadelphia, PA is seeking an Electronics Test Technician to inspect, test and troubleshoot RF devices using oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer and network analyzer. The role supports lean manufacturing and continuous improvement on a 4-day/10-hour schedule with 3-day weekend, with start-from-day-1 benefits and competitive wages.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in electronics or related field, or military electronics experience.
• Experience with microelectronic products under a microscope.
• Experience with RF circuitry (amplifiers, mixers, microwave assemblies) at component level.
• Skilled with test equipment (O-scopes, signal generators, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers).
• Experience performing visual inspections.
• Able to do basic math in all units of measure.
• Strong written and verbal communication via Teams/email.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, measure and test products using electronic measuring equipment and microscope.
• Interpret test schedules, work orders and schematics to determine testing procedures.
• Perform final acceptance testing per customer specifications.
• Connect and tune units using test equipment such as signal generator and network analyzer.
• Read displays indicating voltage, frequency, time delay, distortion, inductance, capacitance.
• Record test data and compare results with specifications.
• Prepare technical reports and recommend solutions to problems.
• Train/mentor technicians and collaborate with engineers and production staff.
