Job summary

PSCI seeks an RF Engineering Aide in Chelmsford, MA to support design engineers with data collection, debugging, and documentation for high‑performance RF systems. You will set up test benches, run tests, and assemble components under a microscope with ESD controls.

The role requires 3+ years in RF/digital troubleshooting, proficiency with RF test equipment and Microsoft Office, and strong ability to read schematics. The position moves to Andover later this year and is onsite full-time.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• ≥3 years’ experience troubleshooting RF/Digital circuits.
• ≥3 years’ experience operating RF test equipment (oscilloscopes, analyzers, PNAs).
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint; microscope use.
• Ability to read block diagrams and schematics; assembly to print.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to RF engineers; collect and format lab results.
• Generate documents, reports, drawings including flow charts and schematics.
• Perform calculations and preliminary data analyses.
• Use PC for analysis, documentation, and report development.
• Set up tests, record data, support engineering evaluations.
• Build wire harnesses and test chassis per drawings; microscope assembly.
• Perform fine-pitch soldering with ESD precautions; operate RF test equipment.
• Collect and process RF data: S-parameters, harmonics, phase noise.
