The individual chosen for this position will be part of the engineering test team responsible for characterizing parts in the Woburn lab. The selected candidate will test parts in the characterization lab, configure test stations, analyze data and prepare reports. Also, as a member of the team, you will be involved in improving the current RF test systems hardware and software. The successful candidate will be an effective problem solver, proactive process owner and insightful test program developer.
In this role, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
Working with experienced engineers to testRF products such as LNA, RF switches, Couplers, and integrated front-end modules.
Measuring RF products’ performance across supply, temperature, and frequency.
Creating compliance matrices against spec, plotting results and analyzing data.
Participating and presenting in data reviews.
Performing lab testing using standard RF test equipment.
Troubleshooting and resolving test/bench or technical issues.
Collaborating with other engineers and technicians.
The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
