Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc in Woburn, MA seeks a Winter/Spring RF Applications Co-Op for a 6-month term starting January 2026. You will assist the Applications team with RF testing, run ADS simulations, and evaluate portfolio products on dedicated evaluation boards.

You will collaborate with RF designers, project managers and product engineers on new product development, contribute to documentation, and prepare customer presentations. Strong RF enthusiasm and MS Office skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an MS or BS program in Electrical Engineering or similar field.
• Must be returning to school after the Co-Op assignment.
• Winter/Spring Co-Op runs January 2026 to June 2026 (6 months).
• Completed at least one RF/Microwave/Wireless technology course.
• Exposure to ADS simulation tool.

Responsibilities

• Assist Applications team with customer-specific testing across frequency and power levels.
• Run product simulations in ADS to help customers optimize systems with Skyworks products.
• Evaluate listed portfolio products on custom evaluation boards.
• Collaborate with RF Designers, Project Managers and Product Engineers on new product development.
• Assist in creating product documentation.
• Create customer presentations explaining complex concepts.
• Use RF tools to perform measurements in an engineering lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Applications team with customer specific testing across frequency and power levels
• Run product simulations in ADS to assist customers with optimizing their system with Skyworks products
• Evaluate portfolio products listed above on custom designed evaluation boards
• Work with RF Designers, Project managers andProduct Engineers as part of new product development
• Assist in product documentation
• Create customerpresentations explaining complex concepts
• Utilize various RF tools to conduct RF measurements in an engineering lab environment

Required Experience and Skills

• Currently enrolled in an MS or BA/BS program studying Electrical Engineering, or similar
• Must be returning to school following this Co-Op assignment
• Able to commit to the Winter/Spring Co-Op program which runs from January 2026 to June 2026 (6 months)
• Successfully completed at least one course in RF / Microwave Technology or Wireless Technologies
• Exposure to and experience with using ADS simulation tool
• Experience with VNA's, spectrum analyzers, noise figure meters, power meters, etc.
• Interest in the RF/Microwave/Antenna/Wireless Technology field
• Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $29.00 - $49.00 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
