Red Cloud is hiring an entry-level RF Technician to support ERRCS and DAS systems. You'll work with a Lead Technician on inspections, troubleshooting, and remediation while learning the trade hands-on.

This role is ideal for someone with a foundation in RF theory and a clear path to grow in wireless communications. Expect hands-on training and a defined path to advance as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• Fundamental RF theory and electrical principles required.
• Ability to read general wiring schematics.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn RF test equipment.
• Clear communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to HQ/job sites.
• Able to climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs, and walk long distances on job sites.
• Able to work at heights and in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Technician with annual inspections, system setup, and troubleshooting.
• Support remediation work on ERRCS/DAS systems.
• Conduct grid walks and signal coverage testing under supervision.
• Learn to use RF test equipment, such as spectrum analyzers and antenna/line sweepers.
• Read and interpret wiring schematics and system diagrams.
• Learn RF math, grounding principles, and commissioning processes.
• Learn county and fire authority guidelines for ERRCS installations.
• Document findings and keep accurate test records.

Job description

We're hiring an entry-level RF Technician to support Emergency Responder Radio Communication Systems (ERRCS) and Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS). You'll work alongside a Lead Technician on annual inspections, troubleshooting, and remediation work, learning the trade hands-on.

• Clear communication and teamwork skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to HQ/job sites

• Able to work at heights and in tight spaces such as ceilings, rooftops, and mechanical rooms
