Job summary

CHAOS in Los Angeles (Hawthorne) is seeking an Integration & Test professional to lead the process of integrating hardware, software and firmware into a cohesive system. You will coordinate with engineers to perform rigorous lab and field testing and verify performance against specifications.

The role requires a STEM degree or equivalent experience, hands-on experience with RF testing tools, and a strong detail orientation. Occasional relocation and a competitive benefits package are noted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or related technical field
• Experience in integration and test of complex systems
• Familiarity with RF testing equipment such as signal generators and spectrum analyzers
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Responsibilities

• Own the Integration and Test process and collaborate with engineers to integrate various components (Hardware, Software, Firmware) into a cohesive system
• Conduct integration, verification, and testing in lab or field to ensure performance matches specifications
• Debug, trace, and correct faults in mechanical, electronic and software systems
• Develop and document comprehensive test plans and procedures for efficient handoff of testing tasks to technicians
• Develop efficient test plans, procedures, and test benches to streamline the Integration & Test process
• Identify tools and equipment required to support I&T and set up/program that equipment as necessary
• Collaborate with Lead Systems Engineer to create and execute test plans and procedures for lab, production and field
• Work closely with the overall engineering team to understand system limitations and capabilities
• Support setup and configuration of system hardware components
• Work 4-5 days per week out of our office in Los Angeles (Hawthorne), California
• Hires with a diploma or equivalent work experience in STEM fields
