Job summary

Apple is seeking an experienced RF System Integration Engineer to lead the development and optimization of RF automation testing systems across cellular products in Cupertino. You will guide system architecture, mentor engineers, and stay hands-on with challenging RF problems.

Responsibilities include owning scalable RF automation architecture, leading a C/C++ software suite, and driving cross-functional root-cause analysis.

Qualifications

• Deep RF fundamentals and communications theory to diagnose novel RF impairments.
• 5+ years hands-on RF lab equipment experience and test setups.
• 6+ years C/C++ system-level development with shipped non-trivial systems.
• Proven experience designing or leading RF test automation end-to-end.
• Experience with data processing tools (Python, MATLAB) for RF/test data at scale.
• Ability to work autonomously on ambiguous cross-functional technical problems.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and roadmap for scalable RF automation software.
• Lead development of a multi-faceted C/C++ software suite and review designs.
• Drive root-cause analysis of RF performance issues with cross-functional teams.
• Provide deep expertise in wireless standards and represent RF in technical discussions.
• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers.
