Job summary

Astranis is seeking an Electrical Integration Intern for Summer 2027 to help design, build, and test satellite hardware and software. You will work with Electrical, Mechanical, RF, and Propulsion teams to develop assembly and integration test plans and execute them using diverse test equipment.

The role emphasizes hands-on hardware development, fast-paced environments, and on-site collaboration five days a week.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a four-year degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent) and graduated within the last 6 months or currently enrolled in a post-graduate program.
• Hands-on hardware development passion in a fast-paced environment; ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize.
• Onsite 5 days a week required.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test satellite hardware and software as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with Electrical, Mechanical, RF, and Propulsion teams to develop assembly and integration test plans and procedures.
• Learn to operate test equipment (DAQs, oscilloscopes, thermal chambers, etc.) to execute test plans.
• Coordinate assembly, integration, and environmental test efforts; help solve complex system-level problems.
