Job summary

Cubic Corporation's Cubic Secure Comms is seeking a Systems Electrical Engineering Intern to support development, testing, and sustainment of advanced RF communication systems. You will gain hands-on experience with RF engineering, laboratory testing, troubleshooting, and basic circuit and system design in a collaborative engineering environment.

The internship offers mentoring from experienced engineers, exposure to prototyping, data analysis, and participation in design reviews.

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Basic understanding of RF communications, electronics, and circuit theory.
Familiarity with laboratory test equipment and data analysis tools is preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Assist engineers with RF communications system testing, integration, and validation.
Perform laboratory measurements using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and other test equipment.
Support troubleshooting of RF, digital, and analog hardware issues.
Collect, document, and analyze test data and prepare technical reports.
Participate in basic electrical and RF circuit design activities.
Assist with prototype assembly, verification, and performance evaluations.
Follow engineering processes, documentation standards, and quality requirements.
