Hermeus is seeking an RF Systems Engineer in Atlanta to lead end-to-end RF system design and integration for a hypersonic aircraft program. You will collaborate with avionics, GNC, flight software, manufacturing, quality, test, and operations to deliver reliable communication, telemetry, navigation, and sensor systems.

Competenze

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
  • 4+ years of RF, antenna, radio, telemetry, or electrical systems experience.
  • Experience with RF/test equipment such as VNAs, spectrum analyzers, power meters, signal generators, oscilloscopes, and multimeters.
  • Strong RF fundamentals including propagation, impedance matching, VSWR, gain/loss, noise figure, filtering, and link performance.
  • Experience developing RF test plans, procedures, setups, or data analysis workflows.
  • Hands-on troubleshooting skills in lab, integration, or test environments.
  • Ability to communicate technical tradeoffs, results, risks, and recommendations cross-functionally.
  • Bias toward action and willingness to work hands-on with hardware.

About The Role

This role requires strong RF fundamentals, broad electrical systems experience, and the ability to move quickly from architecture to hardware integration and test. You will work closely with avionics, GNC, flight software, manufacturing, quality, test, and operations teams to deliver reliable communication, telemetry, navigation, and sensor/instrumentation systems.

Requirements:

$138,550 - $187,450 a year

The salary range listed for this role is intended as a general guideline. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including role scope and responsibilities, relevant experience, education and training, key skills, market data, and business needs.
