Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems is seeking a Systems Engineer in Baltimore, MD to advance state estimation and target tracking for next-generation RF systems. You will work across the lifecycle from requirements to field deployment in lab and flight test environments.

The role requires strong experience in target tracking, sensor fusion, and adaptive processing, with hands-on MATLAB and C++ development, and a requirement for U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ STEM
6+ years of experience with a Master’s degree in STEM
4+ years of experience with a PhD in STEM
Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance required
U.S. Citizenship required
Ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP)
Experience with multi-target tracking, sensor fusion, adaptive signal processing, and RF processing

Responsibilities

Develop and support target tracking, state estimation, and sensor fusion for RF systems
Analyze radar and sensor data to support requirements and use cases
Create models and visualizations to support system development
Support integration and testing in simulations, laboratories, and flight tests
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure performance
Evaluate system performance and implement algorithm enhancements
Use ICDs and technical docs to maintain system functionality
Engage with customers to balance performance with requirements
Perform technical analysis and modify software using MATLAB and C++
