Job summary

Akina, Inc. is seeking a RF Software Engineer 1 in Annapolis Junction, MD, to support DSP algorithm work. The role requires C++/Linux proficiency and a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

You will design DSP algorithms for high-throughput signal processing and adapt software to government needs. Bachelor’s degree in engineering or CS is required, with substitutions possible for advanced degrees or DSP experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline is required (or equivalent).
• Substitutions: 2 years of experience with a Masters; 4 years of DSP experience in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement DSP algorithms in software for high-throughput signal processing.
• Modify existing software/firmware to meet government requirements.
• Explain developed models clearly to team members for reuse.
