Job summary

Gaven Industries Inc. is seeking a RF Shielding Installer/Technician for full-time work across the United States. You will support the installation of shielding systems on construction sites and travel to project locations across the country, up to 90%.

Responsibilities include following drawings/blueprints, inspecting work for conformance, maintaining tools and equipment, and coordinating with other trades. Candidates need carpentry experience, ability to read drawings, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum of four (4) years of commercial construction carpentry experience.
• Ability to travel up to 90% to project locations across the United States.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

RF Shielding Installer

Full Time US

The RF Shielding Installer/Technician will be responsible for all aspects of construction on the job site supporting the installation of shielding systems.

This role requires extensive travel (up to 90%) to project locations across the United States.

In this role, you will:

• Follow drawings and/or blueprints detailing the installation as well as working with other trades supporting the job site
• Inspect and verify all work is completed and in conformance to the drawings and/or blueprints
• Maintain all equipment and tooling utilized on the job site

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Thorough understanding of construction carpentry processes and best practices
• Ability to read construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Solid teamwork and communication skills
• Strong organization, planning, and communication skill set
• Ability to adjust to daily work requirements in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work with minimal supervision at a high-level of accuracy and efficiency
• Possess solid math skills, good mechanical problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
• Ability to perform physically demanding work: standing, bending, and lifting 50 lbs. regularly
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to travel up to 90%

Education/Experience Requirements:

• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Minimum of four (4) years of commercial construction carpentry experience
