Job summary

Deployed Global Solutions, LLC is seeking an RF Attenuation Engineer to design, install, test, validate, and optimize RF systems in shielded environments such as SCIFs. You will ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and construction standards while supporting bids and project teams.

The role involves detailed RF analyses, measurements, and field installations with travel across CONUS/OCONUS as needed. A mechanical engineering degree and 5+ years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive understanding of RF principles and EMI/RFI shielding.
• Experience with EMI/RFI shielding effectiveness testing per industry standards.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction docs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analyses and simulations of RF systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform RF measurements and testing of prototypes and installed systems.
• Troubleshoot RF performance issues and develop testing specs from regulations and drawings.
• Review design drawings to identify deficiencies and propose corrections.
• Install EMI/RFI shielded enclosures and related systems.
• Support development of detailed construction and manufacturing documentation.
