Job summary

Tactical Engineering & Analysis, Inc. in San Diego, CA is seeking a Hardware Engineer to support the integration, configuration, and testing of SDR systems and RF hardware.

This entry- to junior-level role requires a basic understanding of RF principles, electronic hardware, and common RF components. You will assist with hardware setup, troubleshooting, configuration management, and documentation, and help the test team with system setup, test execution, and results reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in STEM field preferred.
• Experience with hardware design and debugging tools.
• Familiarity with RF principles and RF components is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, prototype, and testing of new hardware components and systems.
• Collaborate with software engineers to ensure hardware/software integration.
• Assist in analyzing and troubleshooting hardware issues and provide improvements.
• Contribute to technical documentation including schematics and test reports.
• Assist in hardware production/validation processes and ensure quality compliance.
• Participate in multidisciplinary projects and drive process improvements.
• Stay updated with latest hardware advancements and apply innovations.
