Job summary

Aerotek is actively seeking a Shipper to support outbound freight operations in Greenfield, MA. You will categorize, palletize, label, weigh, and document shipments while maintaining a clean, safe work area and following established procedures.

The role requires RF scanner experience, ability to lift up to 40 pounds, and basic computer skills to track inventory and shipments. This onsite position emphasizes teamwork and accurate, timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Prior shipping or warehouse experience is required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds on a regular basis.
• Experience using RF scanners for picking and loading.
• Familiarity with basic shipping and receiving processes.
• Experience handling materials in a warehouse.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
• Basic computer skills to check locations and update records.
• Strong attention to detail during counting, labeling and weighing.
• Capable of working effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Categorize freight and organize products for shipment, including palletizing.
• Follow system instructions and paperwork to prepare shipments.
• Count and verify items before shipping and report discrepancies.
• Pack boxes, apply labels, and verify accurate weights.
• Load trucks safely and stack items for transport.
• Use a computer to track locations and update shipment details.
• Utilize RF scanners to pick, receive and track items.
• Report broken equipment or safety concerns promptly.
• Keep work area clean and safe, and complete daily reports.
• Assist with other warehouse, shipping and material handling tasks.
