Job summary

Rexel USA in Woodridge, IL is seeking an Order Picker to join the Talley team. The role requires operating RF scanners and standard/stand-up forklifts to pick customer orders accurately and efficiently.

The position emphasizes teamwork, adherence to safety and company policies, and a strong sense of urgency to meet shipping deadlines. Shift is 12:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

Qualifications

• 1-year warehouse experience.
• High School or GED - Preferred
• Able to operate a standard and stand-up forklift.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to stand for long periods and reach overhead.
• Experience using a handheld scanner.
• Ability to read and write in English. Basic math skills.
• Customer service skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Promote a positive, respectful team environment.
• Resolve shipping method conflicts on picking tickets.
• Provide picked orders to shipping/will call for outbound processing.
• Resolve inventory issues with analytic problem-solving.
• Participate in daily facility cleaning and upkeep.
• Follow company policies and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Be adaptable to change and handle high-stress situations.
