Job summary

SMC Corporation is seeking a Material Handler to accurately perform storage, picking, and shipping tasks in our Noblesville facility. You will organize locations, perform RF scanner picks, and help maintain lot tracking and quality standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and adherence to procedures, with on-the-job training on SMC ERP systems and related practices. No prior experience is required, and OT on weekdays/weekends is available.

Qualifications

• Basic computer and math skills required.
• Detail-oriented approach to tasks and records.
• Clear English communication, read/write/speak and understand.

Responsibilities

• Follow standardized work procedures for storing, picking, consolidating, organizing, moving, packaging, and shipping inventory.
• Organize warehouse/factory locations so material is accessible, counted, and identifiable; report discrepancies.
• Complete daily order picks on RF scanner/automation and log received products in consolidation area.
• Perform lot tracking of components as required.
• Work in a team to improve safety, quality, and productivity; maintain clean work areas.
• Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures; participate in ERP system training.
