Job summary

Keysight Technologies is seeking a staff software engineer to develop test sequence software for the EW market in Colorado. You will leverage RF measurement skills and PNA/VNA expertise to create calibration solutions and write measurement software for satellite manufacturing and payload testing.

The role requires strong collaboration with business development and systems engineers, plus a willingness to obtain and maintain a US security clearance and travel 10–25% to customer sites.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of demonstrated experience in SW development in C#/C++ (or combination of education and skills)
• Experience with RF Measurements desired
• Experience using Keysight PNA/VNA instruments is strongly preferred
• Willing and able to obtain and maintain US government security clearance

Responsibilities

• Develop test sequence software for the electronic warfare (EW) market
• Use RF trouble shooting skills and PNA/VNA measurements to develop custom calibration solutions for EW
• Write measurement software to enable satellite manufacturing and component payload testing
• Troubleshoot RF measurement issues on custom test systems
• Develop applications to support space, satellite and EW markets
• Propose software content for solutions, estimate effort and collaborate with BD and systems engineers
