Job summary

RTX’s Effector RF Design Department in Tucson invites an RF Range Operator to join our team. You will operate an Antenna Measurement Range, schedule tests, troubleshoot, and collaborate with customers to develop test plans, while supporting integration, testing, and validation.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in STEM and 2 years of RF testing experience, including VNA operation, with strong documentation skills. This position entails relocation eligibility and a required security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) required.
• Experience testing RF products such as antennas and operating a vector network analyzer.
• Ability to follow prints, schematics, and procedures and document observations.

Responsibilities

• Operate an Antenna Measurement Range, including test execution, scheduling, and troubleshooting.
• Conduct preliminary analysis of antenna range test results against specifications.
• Collaborate with customers to develop test plans for execution on the antenna range.
• Support integration, testing, and validation processes.
• Prepare detailed documentation and present findings for team members.
