Job description

Seeking an experienced RF/RAN Integration Engineer with 10+ years of experience, an engineering degree, and expertise in RF and RAN integration. Multivendor experience and international exposure preferred. Join our diverse and inclusive team!

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and oversee the seamless integration of Radio Frequency (RF) and Radio Access Network (RAN) components, ensuring optimal performance and network efficiency.
  2. Collaborate closely with RF Planning, Optimization, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure successful integration and deployment of RAN and RF equipment.
  3. Conduct comprehensive installation, configuration, and testing of RAN and RF components at various network sites, adhering to technical specifications and safety guidelines.
  4. Utilize advanced RF tools and equipment to measure, analyze, and optimize signal strength, interference levels, and other performance parameters.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to RAN and RF integration, collaborating with technical support teams.
  6. Prepare detailed technical documentation and reports outlining integration processes, validation results, and performance enhancements.
Qualifications and Experience:
  1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field from a reputable university.
  2. Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in RF and RAN integration within the telecommunication industry.
  3. Strong proficiency in integrating and configuring both RF and RAN components, including base stations, antennas, and ancillary systems.
  4. In-depth knowledge of cellular network architecture, protocols, and technologies (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G).
  5. Multivendor experience, showcasing the ability to work with equipment from different manufacturers e.g. Nokia, Ericsson, Huawei and Samsung.
  6. Verify sites Installation, Commissioning, logical Configuration and Alarms.
  7. Perform Acceptances of the RAN sites.
  8. Creation, Commissioning & Integration of RAN solution 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G sites.
  9. Parametric changes using MML and XML.
  10. Ensure all stakeholders (Field teams and O&M teams) are aligned to resolve the pending issues and speed up the acceptances.
  11. International experience in optimizing diverse networks especially U.S.A and EU is a big plus.
