Job summary

ATR International in the Palo Alto area is seeking a Production Manufacturing Supervisor to lead daily production on the floor, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and quality standards. This hands-on leadership role supports technicians, resolves real-time issues, and drives workflow improvements to keep production moving.

The role targets candidates with experience leading technicians in RF, microwave, high-voltage, vacuum electronics, aerospace or defense environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in manufacturing/assembly with leadership experience.
• Experience leading technicians in RF, microwave, or other complex electromechanical environments.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production floor activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.
• Assign work, monitor progress, and provide direction to technicians, assemblers, and lead technicians.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to test technicians to improve performance.
• Support troubleshooting of equipment, process, or material issues to minimize downtime.
• Partner with Manufacturing Engineering to optimize assembly methods and line configurations.
• Ensure accurate execution of production schedules and visibility to WIP.
• Enforce quality standards and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Train and develop technicians in assembly techniques and safety.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and support lean initiatives.
• Track daily production performance and maintain a safe work environment.
