Job summary

KLA's SPTS division seeks an experienced RF & Plasma Technologist to design and develop RF sub-assemblies and plasma hardware for advanced wafer-processing systems. You will collaborate with process, electrical, mechanical, software and manufacturing teams to deliver robust subsystem solutions with world-class plasma performance.

The role involves travel to supplier sites and collaboration with international teams, with potential shift work as projects demand.

Qualifications

PhD or MSc in Physics, Plasma Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics or a related discipline.
Extensive industrial experience in plasma processing, RF engineering, vacuum systems and semiconductor equipment.
Demonstrated success delivering technology from concept to product release.
Strong communication skills to act as cross-functional technical authority.

Responsibilities

Plasma-hardware development for etch and deposition sources, electrodes, gas distribution and chamber internals.
RF sub-assembly development: design, test and optimize matching networks and transmission systems.
Plan laboratory experiments, analyse data and document conclusions.
Coordinate design reviews and mentor engineers.
