Job description

We are seeking an accomplished RF Planning Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience to join our forward-thinking team. The ideal candidate should possess a degree in Engineering from a reputable university and demonstrate a strong background in RF planning. Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop comprehensive RF network plans and strategies for optimal coverage, capacity, and quality across various wireless technologies (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G).
2. Utilize advanced RF planning tools and software to perform site selection, frequency planning, and interference analysis.
3. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including RF Optimization, Engineering, and Operations, to ensure successful network deployment.
4. Conduct predictive propagation models and simulations to assess signal strength, coverage, and interference in diverse geographic areas.
5. Design and optimize cell site configurations, antenna systems, and radio parameters for efficient network performance.
6. Prepare detailed technical documentation and reports outlining RF planning strategies, designs, and optimization recommendations.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field from a reputable university.
2. Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in RF planning within the telecommunication industry.
3. Strong proficiency in using RF planning tools and software from various vendors e.g. Netact, ACP, Atoll and U-Net etc.
4. In-depth knowledge of cellular network architecture, protocols, and technologies (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G).
5. Multivendor experience, showcasing the ability to work with equipment from different manufacturers.
6. International experience in optimizing diverse networks especially U.S.A and EU is a big plus.
