Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Manufacturing Tech A for the Rochester, NY area on a 2nd shift (4/10s, 10 hour days). You will conduct tests on RF and digital PCBs, log data in technical databases, and assist with troubleshooting in a fast-paced, cross-functional team.

Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and travel across the production floor during shifts. The role emphasizes adherence to MTPs, teamwork, and a proactive approach to process improvement, with opportunities to learn and grow

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required, 0-3 years prior experience.
• Preferred: some electronics background.

Responsibilities

• Follows Manufacturing Test Procedures (MTP) to perform automated and semi-automated tests on RF or digital PCBs, subassemblies, or end products.
• Uses hand tools such as torque wrenches.
• Maintains consistent quality and productivity levels.
• Uses Microsoft Office programs.
• Identifies problems and contributes to process improvements.
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, flexible production environment.
• Works as part of a team and collaborates to accomplish tasks.
• Traversing across the production floor for the duration of their shift (up to 12 hours).
• Able to transport up to 25 lbs.
