Orion Edge is seeking an RF PCB Design Engineer to own the physical realization of RF hardware from schematic to manufacturable boards. You will lead multi‑layer stack‑ups, controlled impedance routing, and RF layout discipline, collaborating with RF design and board houses to ensure performance in real hardware.

Applicants should have a B.S. in a relevant field, 3+ years in RF/microwave PCB layout, strong Altium skills, and familiarity with IPC standards and MIL‑STD considerations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of RF/microwave PCB layout in a product development environment.
• Experience with Altium Designer for RF/microwave layouts.
• Ability to design controlled-impedance traces and transmission lines.
• Knowledge of RF materials, substrates, and EMI/EMC considerations.
• Experience with fabrication data packages and vendor coordination.

Responsibilities

• Physical Layout Ownership: lead RF/microwave PCB layout from floor‑planning to release.
• Stack-Up & Impedance Control: manage multi‑layer stack‑ups and controlled‑impedance traces.
• RF Layout Discipline: apply best practices to minimize crosstalk and parasitics.
• Design Intent Translation: convert schematic requirements into accurate layouts with RF performance preserved.
• Manufacturing Release: prepare Gerbers, drill files, drawings, and stack‑up docs for fabrication.
• Mixed‑Signal Integration: plan boards combining RF with high‑speed digital and analog.
• Bring-Up Support: assist lab bring‑up and characterize layouts against measurements.
