Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Network Engineer RF to support the US Army with wireless, 5G, satellite and communications capabilities. The role focuses on managing the electromagnetic spectrum to enable mission-critical command, control, training and contingency operations.

Qualified candidates will have a BS/BA, 15–20 years of related experience, and an Active Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintains wireless, 5G, satellite, and communications capabilities in response to mission requirements.
• Supports determination and management of operating radio frequencies from the allocated electromagnetic spectrum for US Army.
• Determines and manages specific operating radio frequencies throughout the spectrum for US Army including survey, design, propagation studies, optimization, live and simulation events and electronic countermeasures training missions.
• Establishes other frequency requirements for command, control and contingency communications.
