Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. is seeking an RF Module Design Engineer Co-op for Winter/Spring 2027 in Cedar Rapids. You will collaborate with experienced engineers to design multi-chip RF modules and perform simulations using HFSS and ADS, with hands-on lab testing.

The position emphasizes learning and contributing to RF/microwave design, with onsite work for roughly six months starting January 2027. Enrollment in Electrical Engineering MS or Ph.D.

Qualifications

  • MS in Electrical Engineering or PhD is preferred.
  • Experience with RF/microwave design and lab testing.
  • Familiarity with HFSS and ADS is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

  • Assist design and development of multi-chip RF modules.
  • Design semi-lumped RF matching networks and passive devices.
  • Run simulations using HFSS, ADS; participate in design reviews.
  • Perform lab testing with RF test equipment and troubleshoot issues.
