Job summary

Keysight Technologies in Santa Rosa, CA seeks a hardware design engineering intern to work on a signal source project within our R&D team. You will apply circuit design fundamentals and EE knowledge to help develop next-generation test and measurement instruments.

The ideal candidate is pursuing an MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, with strong analog/RF/microwave background and a drive to explore new technologies and methods.

Qualifications

• Working toward MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong analog, RF and/or Microwave circuit fundamentals.
• Strong work ethic and problem-solving ability.
• Clear communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a hardware signal source project within the R&D team.
• Use circuit design and analysis tools to develop prototypes.
• Perform hands-on measurements with VNAs, oscilloscopes and signal generators; debug and analyze results.
