Job summary

XMA Corporation in Manchester, NH is seeking an RF/Microwave Development Engineer to design, analyze, test, and optimize passive RF components for military, commercial, and satellite applications.

You will lead NDIs, design transfer, and production implementation, mentoring technicians and creating documentation, with hands-on testing to deliver high-performance, manufacturable products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and 3+ years RF/microwave experience.
• Hands-on experience using network analyzers and measuring S-parameters.
• Knowledge of Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR) and packaging techniques.
• Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) and design transfer to manufacturing.
• AS9100 knowledge or experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and productization of RF/microwave components into manufacturable, scalable products.
• Validate and optimize passive RF products across military, commercial, satellite, and space applications.
• Develop and execute RF test and validation plans using network analyzers and measurement systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and operations for NPI and production transfer.
• Create and maintain engineering documentation including drawings, ATPs, QTPs, and failure analyses.
• Utilize SolidWorks and AutoCAD for mechanical packaging and design verification.
• Apply DFM principles and support continuous improvement to enhance quality and yield.
• Provide hands-on technical support for prototypes, testing, tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Analyze technical data to support development and informed decisions.
• Support strategic product development initiatives contributing to XMA's growth.
