Job summary

Raytheon is seeking an RF & Microwave Engineer II in California to design and test Microwave RF circuits, assemblies, and ICs, supporting them from development through production. A DoD Secret clearance is required after day 1, with US citizenship necessary.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with hardware and software teams to meet stringent program requirements. Candidates should have a degree in Electrical Engineering, 2+ years of RF/Microwave experience, and proficiency

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
• Minimum 2 years of RF/Microwave experience.
• Experience with RF/Microwave design and testing methods.
• Experience with high frequency circuits from baseband to millimeter wave.
• Experience with lab equipment, including Special Test Equipment, Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, and Power Meters.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Design and test Microwave RF circuits, RFAs, MICs, IMAs, CCAs, and provide production support.
• Support hardware and software design, equipment selections, and develop special test equipment with validation and certification.
• Conduct testing and integration through development, production, and post-production support.
• Create and present technical data packages for program management during design reviews.
• Collaborate with a focused team and proactively solve problems.
