RTX in the US is seeking a hands-on RFTest Engineer to support measurement campaigns for GaAs and GaN devices. You will set up and operate fixture and wafer-probe measurements, assemble test systems, and analyze results using Python and MATLAB.

Qualifications

What You Will Do:
  • Perform RF/microwave/millimeter-wave measurements on GaAs and GaN devices, modules and MMICs (Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuits)
  • Perform fixtured and on-wafer probe measurements
  • Assemble RF/microwave/millimeter-wave test systems
  • Use software to control test equipment and plot test results
What You Will Learn:
  • RF/Microwave measurement techniques including wafer probing, fixtured devices, pulsed measurements
  • Use of test equipment such as Performance Network Analyzers (PNAs), Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs), Spectrum Analyzers, Real-time Spectrum Analyzers (RSAs), Noise Figure Analyzers, Load-Pull systems etc
  • Use of software tools such as Labview, Python and Keysight Advanced Design System (ADS) to control test equipment and manipulate test date
  • Measurement trouble-shooting techniques
Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major.
  • Experience/coursework in one or more of the following: RF/microwave, Analog, Digital Electronics, Circuit Design or Analysis, Electrical Components, Electromagnetics
Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Lab experience specific to RF/microwave device and circuit measurements
  • Knowledge of electrical circuit design, analysis and troubleshooting using common lab equipment.
  • Experience with any of the following software: Python, Labview, Keysight ADS, HFSS, Cadence Virtuoso, MATLAB, CST, Mentor Graphics’ Expedition, AutoCAD, TCAD, C++, Java, JMP

This position is classified as: Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
