Job summary

Aptiv Interconnect in Peabody, MA is seeking an Assembly Tech A to prepare, assemble, inspect and test RF microwave cables, connectors and interconnect products per specs. You will work independently with minimal supervision, ensuring quality and timely completion of assemblies.

The role requires RF/mechanical assembly experience, reading drawings, and strong communication, with full-time hours and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of RF related and/or mechanical assembly experience
• Experience with RF/microwave cable and connector assembly is a plus
• Basic math skills
• Ability to read product drawings and instructions
• Strong verbal and written communication

Responsibilities

• Prepare work by studying product and process documentation, parts lists, tools and fixtures
• Set up and operate equipment to cut, prepare, and trim cable
• Assemble connectors and components according to specifications
• Identify and resolve assembly issues with QA and Process Engineering
• Perform in-process inspections such as dimensional checks and interface gauging
• Record inspection results and materials/documents per procedures
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and comply with policies
