Job summary

GVI Inc., a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, seeks an RF Hardware Engineer in San Diego, CA. The role focuses on design, test and documentation of PCB hardware within C4ISR projects for government and commercial clients.

You will lead testing efforts, mentor technicians, and collaborate with quality and facilities to ensure robust hardware and processes. A strong RF background and proficiency with test equipment are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in EE/ME/CE/CS or related field.
• 5 years C4ISR or related experience in large system design, testing and analysis.
• Senior project management experience for planning, scheduling and execution of large programs.
• Hands-on RF experience and spectrum analyzer experience.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, datasheets and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Design and test PCB development, update and document hardware.
• Support new capability engineering, including design, testing and operation of C4ISR components and systems.
• Review and update technical documentation; analyze R&D plans; maintain knowledge of relevant tech.
• Train and mentor test/repair technicians; troubleshoot tester hardware/software with customer support.
• Analyze failure data, improve prototypes and production yields; manage calibration and maintenance of equipment.
