Job summary

Astranis is seeking an Associate RF Hardware Engineer for Winter 2027 in the United States. This 12-week salaried program targets graduates and offers hands-on work on RF subsystems used in spacecraft.

You’ll design, simulate, and test hardware (LNAs, amplifiers, converters, filters), and collaborate with the team to integrate systems into satellites. Qualifications include a four-year degree in a relevant field, strong RF knowledge, and experience with ADS/HFSS and RF measurement tools.

Qualifications

• Passion for hardware development in fast-paced environment.
• Hold a four-year degree in electrical engineering, physics, applied physics, or related technical field.
• Deep knowledge of RF concepts: transmission lines, impedance matching, filters, active RF circuits.
• Hands-on experience in designing, building, and testing RF hardware for microwave frequencies.
• Experience with RF simulation tools (ADS or HFSS).
• Experience taking RF measurements with spectrum analyzers, signal generators, network analyzers, etc.

Responsibilities

• Design, simulate, implement, and measure passive/active RF sub-systems at microwave frequencies (LNAs, power amplifiers, up/down convertors, filters, oscillators).
• Integrate RF systems into the spacecraft by collaborating with the team.
