Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. in Newbury Park, CA is seeking an RF Front-End Module Co-Op for Summer/Fall 2027. You will learn and contribute to the development of advanced RF front-end modules alongside seasoned professionals.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering MS or PhD program.
  • Commitment for working on site for 3–6 months or more during June to December 2027.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop multi-chip RF front-end modules with experienced engineers.
  • Design semi-lumped RF matching networks, integrated passive devices, couplers, etc.
  • Run simulations using HFSS, ADS, and other design tools.
  • Participate in design reviews and present findings.
  • Perform lab testing with standard RF equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve design or technical issues.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and technicians.

Job Description:

In this co-op opportunity at Skyworks, you will learn and participate in developing advanced, state-of-the-art RF front-end module, working with seasoned engineering professionals and collaborating with subject matter experts within Skyworks. Not only you will get to know how things work in industry, but you will also accumulate advanced technical knowledge and skills, valuable experience as well as exploring full-time job opportunities at Skyworks. Responsibilities
  • Working with experienced engineers to design/develop Multi-chip modules
  • Designing semi-lumped RF matching networks, integrated passive devices, couplers, etc.
  • Running simulations using design tools such as Ansys HFSS, Keysight ADS, etc.
  • Participating and presenting in design reviews
  • Performing lab testing using standard RF test equipment
  • Trouble-shooting and resolving design or technical issues
  • Collaborating with other engineers and technicians
Required Experience and Skills

Candidate must be currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering (or related) Masters or Ph.D. program.
