Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician to support a leading wireless communications organization across multiple locations. You will install, service, and troubleshoot RF/wireless systems for DoD and commercial clients, with hands-on work on radios, antennas, DAS/BDA, and networked devices.

This onsite role requires 2–3+ years in RF, electronics, or telecom, travel as needed, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years in RF/electronics, telecom, or military communications
• Experience with wireless communications, cabling, antennas, or related systems
• Familiarity with UHF/VHF, RF, two-way radio systems or communications equipment
• Ability to read schematics/diagrams and technical docs
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP and networking principles

Responsibilities

• Program and configure radio equipment.
• Support UHF/VHF and 800/900 MHz networks.

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking Field Service Technicians to support a leading wireless communications organization across various locations. The team is seeking a technician with expertise installing and maintaining RF/wireless communication systems to support a variety of DoD and Commercial clients. Details below:

Location(s): Columbia, MD, Chantilly, VA, Greensburg, PA, St. Paul, MN (100% onsite)

Responsibilities of the Field Technician:

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot radio communications systems.
• Program and configure radio equipment.
• Support UHF/VHF and 800/900 MHz networks.

• Assist with BDA/DAS installation and troubleshooting.

Qualifications of the Field Technician:

• 2-3+ years of relevant technical experience preferred, including military communications, electronics, RF, low-voltage installation, telecommunications, or two-way radio
• Experience experience with wireless communications, electronics, cabling, antennas, or related systems
• Familiarity with UHF/VHF, RF, two-way radio systems, or communications equipment
• Ability to read basic schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP and networking principles preferred
• Experience with Motorola, Kenwood, ICOM, Harris, EF Johnson, or other radio manufacturers is a plus
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to support regional/overnight travel and on-call requirements as needed

Compensation of the Field Technician:

• Total compensation based on experience level - $57,000-$72,000+ **based on experience level**
