Job summary

C Squared Systems, an RF engineering and wireless solutions provider, is seeking an RF Field Engineer to join the team in Clifton, NJ. This role is in-field 90% of the time, leading system commissioning, site surveys, and activation efforts across DAS and cellular projects.

You will work closely with customers and field teams, perform tests with spectrum analyzers and RF equipment, and ensure optimal performance through hands-on troubleshooting and diagnostics.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in DAS or cellular systems.
• 2 year college degree, preferably technical.
• Knowledge of wireless technologies (CDMA, WCDMA, GSM, LTE).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Takes the lead on system commissioning, integrations, and activations.
• Performs system tests using scanners, spectrum analyzers, transmitters, and other electronic test equipment.
• Performs site surveys and in-depth walkthroughs.
• Works (hands on) with system components such as antennas, fiber optics, coax, and RF amplifiers.
• Troubleshoots and repairs systems for optimal performance.
• Application of RF principles/theory (signal path, power, frequency, noise, modulations, etc.).
• Multi-tasks on projects on a day-to-day basis.
• Maintains test equipment and tools for continuous use.
• Travel to various job sites within the tri-state and outlying regions (NY, PA, NJ, CT).

C Squared Systems, LLC is an RF engineering, consulting, and software development company specializing in providing services for seamless wireless coverage from RF analysis to design and implementation of DAS systems and Wi-Fi networks to remote monitoring and management of complex multi-vendor environments. Site Portal®, a customizable Web-based software, was engineered by C Squared Systems to remotely monitor and manage these complex multi-vendor environments.

C2 Systems is currently seeking a Radio Frequency (RF)/Field Engineer to join our team. If you are highly motivated and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment, this may be the role for you. You will be interacting with customers and co-workers on a daily basis and providing timely and detailed updates. This position will require you to be in the field 90% of the time.

Skills/Qualifications:

• 2 year college degree (preferably technical) with relevant coursework
• 2+ years of related experience (previous experience with DAS architecture and other cellular systems)
• Knowledge of various wireless technologies (CDMA, WCDMA, GSM, LTE, etc.)
• Possess strong technical aptitude and the desire to learn and advance within a technical field
• Comfortable working in high pressure situations
• Ability to receive and give direction on an as needed basis
• Knowledge of RF optimization techniques and best practices
• Proficient in basic computer applications (MS Office, etc.)
• Must have a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
