Job summary

Qualis LLC seeks a Modeling, Simulation & Algorithms Engineer to develop models, simulations, and performance assessments for RF, EW, PNT, and communications systems. You will collaborate with RF, software, systems, and FPGA engineers to evaluate concepts and guide design decisions.

The ideal candidate has an ABET-accredited degree, 5+ years of modeling experience, and strong MATLAB/Python skills, plus the ability to communicate across multidisciplinary teams and customers. U.S.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in a technical field.
• 5+ years developing engineering models, simulations, or algorithms.
• Proficiency with MATLAB and Python.
• Experience performing trade studies and quantitative performance analysis.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to multidisciplinary teams and customers.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain analytical models and simulations supporting RF, EW, PNT, and communications systems.
• Perform system performance assessments, trade studies, and sensitivity analyses.
• Develop algorithms supporting navigation, signal processing, tracking, detection, classification, and sensor fusion applications.
• Build MATLAB and Python-based simulation environments to evaluate system concepts and mission effectiveness.
• Support development of digital engineering models and architecture evaluations.
• Analyze experimental and test data to validate models and improve system performance predictions.
• Collaborate with systems, RF, software, and FPGA engineers to support technology development and prototype demonstrations.
• Support proposal efforts, customer briefings, technical reports, and future technology roadmaps.
