Job summary

GStek, Inc. in Virginia Beach is seeking an experienced Radio-Frequency Engineer for onsite work at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek Fort Story. You will design, test, and analyze RF, microwave, and communications systems to support Navy and allied operations.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years in RF or related fields, and ability to travel to test sites. Security clearance eligibility and US citizenship are required; salary ranges from $80k to $110k+ with strong

Qualifications

BS in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited college/university.
5+ years in electronics, RF engineering, communications, DSP.
US citizenship and ability to obtain a government security clearance.
Exposure to RF test equipment and antennas/waveguides.
Exposure to C++ and Java software development.

Responsibilities

RF/Microwave/Communication system design and development.
Conduct test, evaluation, and data analysis of communications, EW, radar, SIGINT systems.
Aid in cradle-to-grave development of RF systems and production.
Conduct field surveys and tests, manage instrumentation and installations.
