Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in electrical/electronic tech with RF testing experience.
• 1+ years' RF test and component-level troubleshooting experience.
• Familiarity with ISO 17025/ICE 17025 accreditation standards.

• Grip and grasp tools and parts for assembly; repetitive lifting of materials/parts weighing 5-10 lbs; form parts and perform fine manipulation; turning and twisting wrists and hands.

Salary Range: $22.00 To $31.00 Annually

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

Test RF components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.

GENERAL FUNCTIONS / SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• 1.Develop an environment of continual improvement through the use of Lean tools.
• 2.Promote the Bird Family Values through your actions – Trust, Innovation, Teamwork, Achievement and Accountability.
• 3.Be able to describe the quality policy and goals, your contribution to quality, and the effects of not observing quality and customer requirements.
• 4.Possess the ability to perform/execute calibration and test procedures in accordance with ISO/ICE 17025-2005 accreditation
• 5.Test product to prescribed specifications.
• 6.Record data where applicable.
• 7.Report failures to the quality system.
• 8.Other duties as required.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• 1.Associate of Applied Science degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology or equivalent. 1+ years’ experience with RF test and component level troubleshooting.
• 2.Knowledge of RF test equipment (signal generators, signal analyzers, power meters)
• 3.Possess the ability to perform/execute calibration and test procedures in accordance with ISO/ICE 17025-2005 accreditation
• 4.Working knowledge of script programming
• 5.Good team member
• 6.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• 7.ISO 9001 and/or ISO 17025 experience preferred
