Job summary

QED Systems, LLC is seeking an Electrical Engineer, RF, to join the C5ISR PNT Division at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. You will design, simulate, and implement advanced RF systems and DSP algorithms to support government missions and rely on MATLAB, Simulink, Python, and C/C++ for prototyping and validation.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related electronics discipline with at least four years of hardware design experience and an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related electronics discipline.
• At least four years of experience in design, development, integration and analysis of hardware projects.
• Active Secret clearance.
• Ability to work in government/defense environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, simulate, and implement RF systems and DSP algorithms.
• Develop RF architectures, perform link budgets and antenna performance evaluation.
• Transform IQ data into actionable intelligence via signal processing.
• Prototype, test, and validate DSP algorithms using MATLAB, Simulink, Python and C/C++.
• Support HIL testing and integration activities for RF and communications systems.
• Use RF test equipment to conduct testing and troubleshooting.
• Develop ML and data fusion techniques to enhance RF analysis.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deploy RF and signal processing solutions.
• Prepare technical documentation and briefings for government stakeholders and program leadership.
