Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an RF/Digital Test and Development Engineer (2nd/3rd shift) in Baltimore, MD to own RF and digital hardware testing and delivery. The role focuses on hands-on testing, troubleshooting, and collaboration across design, manufacturing, and program teams.

The candidate should have RF theory knowledge, digital design experience, and ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret clearance. U.S. citizenship required. Salary ranges reflect primary and secondary levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field; minimum 2+ years (2) experience or Master's degree with 0+ years experience.
• Experience reading and interpreting specifications, schematics and block diagrams.
• Experience with RF hardware and software; and digital engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement testing methods and equipment.
• Troubleshoot RF and digital hardware.
• Support FT Test Yield actions and hardware deliveries.
• Analyze test data and identify early trends.
• Define changes in testing equipment, procedures, or manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with design engineering for hardware improvements.
• Support technicians through troubleshoot and training.
• Monitor product yields and program yield targets.
• Report yields and corrective actions in program meetings.
• Interface with manufacturing, test technicians, engineers, and program teams.
